Reflecting on my internship experience at ListenToOurFuture, I gained valuable professional and personal growth throughout the semester. This experience helped me strengthen my communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills while working in a professional nonprofit environment. I learned how important administrative work is in helping programs operate effectively and support the people they serve.

 

Through assisting with the Youth Development Leadership Program, I gained hands-on experience reviewing materials, organizing records, and supporting daily operations. I also learned the importance of professionalism, teamwork, and adaptability when working with others toward a shared goal.

 

Overall, this internship and capstone experience helped me better understand nonprofit operations and youth leadership development while preparing me for future careers in leadership, project management, and community-focused work.
